Industrial Contractors Retiree Documentary

Skanska / ICI

Industrial Contractors is primarily responsible for the contours of the downtown Evansville, Indiana skyline, as well as most of the major construction projects in the region. Under the leadership of chairman and CEO Alan Braun, they built the corporate headquarters for Old National Bank, Vectren and Springleaf Financial. They built the Deaconess Gateway Hospital, and they played a major role in the construction of the Toyota plant in Princeton, Indiana.

In 2011, Industrial Contractors was purchased by Skanka, a global construction and engineering firm headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. This past year, CEO Alan Braun officially retired from the company, and o’connor/creative was asked to produce a video to honor Alan. We decided that the best way to tell Alan’s story would be through the voices of the men who had worked with him.

Produced with Jordan Barclay, Matt Wagner, Rob Renoch and James O’Connor.
